Vannes market

No need to go far from the campsite located close to nature to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Morbihan markets, including that of Vannes just 12 km away. The Vannes market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays (mornings from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) on the Place des Lices as well as in the surrounding streets of the historic heart of the city. Also called Marché des Lices, it’s the meeting place for epicureans! Its stalls are full of fish and shellfish caught daily, seasonal fruits and vegetables and even typical cold meats and cheeses. You will also find the region’s culinary treasures such as Kouign-amann or salted butter caramel. Also enjoy the halls all year round: Fish market (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Halle des Lices (Tuesday to Sunday or every day in July-August, morning from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ).

Carnac market

The market of Carnac, the seaside resort famous for its alignments of menhirs, is held at Place Saint-Fiacre and in its surrounding streets (Wednesdays and Saturdays, in the morning only from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2:30 p.m.). Also take the time to stroll around the local producers’ market (Place Notre-Dame, takes place every Friday morning from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) or the station market (Place Raoul Dautry, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.). Every day of the year, enjoy fresh produce at Les Halles (Place de la République, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.).

Lorient market

The port city of Lorient is home to many Morbihan markets, including the unmissable one in the city center at Les Halles de Merville (Wednesday and Saturday mornings) near the covered market open from Tuesday to Sunday.
