The Quiberon peninsula reserves exceptional surf spots very popular with sports enthusiasts.

  • Port Blanc Beach and Pointe du Percho to the west of Saint-Pierre-Quiberon offer technical and fast waves in all seasons. When the tide rises, the swell is strong and long. These ideal spots for experienced surfers are also attractive for their imposing cliffs shaped by the sea.
  • A few kilometers to the south, Port Bara Beach, a sandy cove enhanced by a cave. This wildly beautiful spot is reserved for experts who can enjoy its rough waters.
  • At the entrance to the peninsula, a few hundred meters south of the 18th century Fort, Penthièvre Beach. This beach-break type spot, where the waves break and break close to the edge, is accessible to surfers of all levels to whom it also offers interesting walls.
  • Mané Gwen Beach on the arm between Plouharnel Bay and the ocean offers excellent waves. Kitesurfers will be able to spend memorable moments in the area reserved for them.

The beaches of Guidel, labeled a 2-star “Surf Town” since 2015, offer superb spots that are very popular during the summer season.

  • The beache of Falaise at the mouth of the Laïta river is ideal for starting out. Favor low tide where the waves are less powerful.
  • The beache Loc’h, a beach break whose hollow waves are appreciated all year round by surfers of all levels.

Erdeven

The kilometers of Erdeven beaches are sublime in all seasons, such as:

  • La Barre d’Étel, a spot suitable for experienced surfers located at the mouth of the Étel where the waves are tubular and the current strong.
  • Kerhillio Beach where the swell is constant is ideal for all board sports.

Ploemeur

  • The spot on the long beach of Fort Bloqué where the waves are perpetual is accessible to everyone all year round.
  • Kaolins Beach where tubular waves can reach 3 meters high is reserved for experts.

La Trinité-sur-Mer

Don’t miss the surfing and kitesurfing spot at Beach of Men Du to the east of Carnac. Please note, this technical spot is only accessible in low season. Take advantage of the beauty of the place to swim there during the summer season.
